Blocking Hoosier National Forest Hunting Areas
I am disappointed that some land owners are attempting to block access to our Hoosier National forest hunting areas.
Currently I am in dispute with nasty situation in Perry County concerning a landowner who has placed a steel gate and barbed wire across a public access near Derby In.
Have complained to the state and local National Forest Offices in Tell City and Bedford. National Forest officials tell me that they are working on the issue. Lost access to a very large National Forest area during this hunting season due to this illegal closer.
Has anyone else had a similar experience, and what can we do as group to keep access to our shrinking public hunting areas.
